History

1994

Since the 1970s Dr. rer. nat. Michael Weber has been working as a mathematician at the Berlin Humboldt University on tools for circuit development. In 1994 Michael Weber establishes DResearch Digital Media Systems GmbH with 4 employees. Its aim is the development, production and sale of CCTV transmission and recording systems for professional applications.

1995

Beginning of the close co-operation with the FHTW (Specialist University for Technology and Business) in Berlin. Alongside this DResearch also conducts co-operative work with universities in the region, including the Berlin Humboldt University

1996

DResearch starts co-operating with Siemens AG, focussing on telephony platform development.

2003

DResearch achieves "Preferred Supplier" status with Siemens. The necessary assessment included detailed examination of results to date and the future potential of the company. Cooperation extends to quality and project management tasks.

DResearch becomes a member of "We make IT", an initiative promoting IT companies in Berlin-Brandenburg.

2004

DResearch becomes an SAP sales/service and development partner. With the motto "From MSEs - for MSEs" DResearch develops and markets tailor-made, customer-specific industry solutions for SAP Business One.

2005

DResearch celebrates its tenth anniversary. Well-known personalities from politics and business as well as representative from partners Siemens and SAP come to celebrate.

2007

DResearch is the first German company to offer CCTV solutions with recorders using flash memory (solid state disks).
