“Agile” programming

We also like to work in an agile manner, i.e. in small iteration loops. The advantage of this is that we don’t have to know all the requirements at one go, but we can start off with small units.

“Test-driven” development

Our test-driven development involves building “test dishes” at each specification stage. – These are programs or program suits which automatically check the functionality of a newly developed module. The advantage of this process is that is shows immediately and with absolute reliability whether our programming aim has been reached. The higher the system level reached, the more difficult it is to build automated tests. Tests, by the way are still important to check the remaining “old” functionality after a software system has been expanded (regression).
