Video solutions for mobile applications

There are many reasons for having ‘video on board' vehicles. In public transport, monitoring systems in busses, trams and trains reduce the costs of vandalism by up to 30 percent and ensure that passengers and staff feel safer. Live video pictures from police or fire service vehicles provide their command and control centre with important information enabling them to make the right decisions quickly. In the logistics field video recordings can lead to reductions in shrinkage and operating costs and provide an additional value added through their documentation function.

DResearch is one of the pioneers of mobile video monitoring. In 1996 the TeleObserver was the world's first system which could transmit good quality video data over a narrow band mobile network, thanks to a unrivalled compression system. DResearch has since exploited and expanded this advantage in hardware, software and codec development and produced practical ‘Made in Germany' all-in-one solutions.

DResearch is now the market leader in equipping busses, trams, trains, transport and emergency vehicles with future-proof systems for mobile surveillance whether these involve recording and/or transmission, analogue, IP or hybrid technology.

Since the year 2007, public transportion companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland DResearch can order video solutions for bus and train directly at favorable terms on the Derovis GmbH. The Derovis GmbH is a joint venture between DResearch and ROSHO. For further information please refer to the "Contact" section.
