Cameras often see more than emergency crews who are in the middle of a difficult situation. So it is sensible to kit out police, fire service and military vehicles with mobile systems to transmit live video pictures. Then the control room is always in the picture as to what is happening and if necessary can take appropriate action. This saves valuable time and enables the mobile teams to concentrate fully on their difficult job.

Emergency service vehicles

This is where BlueLine systems are used. They use the local mobile wireless networks like UMTS for the secure transmission of data to the control centre. Each system supports up to four cameras which cover the vehicle environment. The cameras and recording device are supplied with power from the vehicle battery.
